Data Whale is a community-incubated project that started activity within the Ocean Protocol ecosystem.
To support the objectives of Ocean Protocol, Data Whale developed a variety of tools that aimed to accelerate adoption of the Ocean’s ecosystem.
Since 2020, Data Whale launched hundreds of outreach, content and product initiatives that supported the Ocean Protocol ecosystem and its partners.
These include Web 3 partners, such as H20 Data, Decentr Network, TUFext and Autobot, as well as Web 2 partners such as Brainstem Health.
Personally, we run a successful STR business and have a commercial background in a large American corporation.
Data Whale is a community-oriented project inspired by Ocean Protocol to help kickstart a Web3 data economy.
To support the objectives of Ocean Protocol, Data Whale develops a variety of tools that accelerate adoption of Datatokens, an emerging blockchain asset class of tokens backed by real-world datasets.
Our team of freelancers, developers and community members are constantly working on improving the tools that are available to navigate the Ocean Protocol Web3 data economy!
We built an Ocean Market mobile app on iOS and Android, several dedicated Datatoken marketing channels, a blockchain data economy tutorial page and are in the process of developing a decentralized Datatoken exchange.
We will also continue launching datasets on the Ocean Data Market, targeting a high data consume volume.
Our community-powered outreach and marketing programs, bounties and incentive schemes have the objective to accelerate the adoption of Ocean Protocol technology and Datatokens in general.

In the future, Data Whale aims to tokenize datasets on behalf of clients and act as a data custodian. We can manage the entire process of curating, tokenizing and launching Initial Data Offerings on behalf in return for a management fee.
